Il Dromedario – A Favorite for Families in Florence

Guests have access to a luggage storage room and lockers for bag drop-off after checkout. The property provides pet bowls and pet baskets, so travelers with dogs have the necessary equipment. A safety deposit box is available for storing valuables at the front desk.

Family rooms include a loft area with two separate beds for children, giving parents and kids their own sleeping zones. Each unit has a private entrance, a private bathroom with a bidet, and a tiled floor for easy cleaning. The triple room type offers a double bed downstairs with two single beds upstairs in the loft.

The hotel sits 0.5 km from Florence Santa Maria Novella train station, an average 8-minute walk for arriving passengers. Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore is located 1.2 km from the front door, placing guests within walking distance of the main dome. Strozzi Palace is 1.1 km away, offering a clear route for a 15-minute stroll through the historic center.

The daily breakfast combines Italian pastries with a buffet, giving guests a choice of sweet and savory options. Breakfast is served in a dedicated dining area between 8:15 AM and 10:00 AM each morning. The host prepares coffee to order for each guest during the breakfast hours.

Family rooms are designed for larger groups, with three beds split across two levels inside one unit. The elevator, though small, carries luggage and strollers up to the guest floors without requiring stairs. Daily housekeeping services the rooms and common areas throughout the stay.
